About The Role: 

The Digital Designer supports client objectives through creating engaging and impactful social content across all platforms. The Digital Designer will proactively work with the client's Creative Director to manage design quality, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring that all social content follows brand guidelines and platform requirements. Candidates should have a passion for social media, and know how to incorporate the latest trends and consumer behavior into their work to ensure high-performing content. Additionally, the digital designer will lead and develop new designs, templates and social series.

What you will be doing:

• Deliver on briefs from concept to completion, working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation, and execution
• Staying on track with emerging social trends and engaging with the wider digital creative community
• A strong understanding of conceptualization, digital design, graphic design, illustration, typography, and brand standards
• Ability to define or adapt the brand look and feel for a variety of social media campaigns, while adhering to brand guidelines
• Develop creative and graphic concepts across multiple social touch points in collaboration with assigned teams to meet the objectives of the content 
• Follow projects throughout all stages of production and online deployment 
• Working collaboratively with a cross-functional team of copywriters, motion graphics artists, strategists and account managers both agency and client-side

What you need to be great in this role:

• 5 years of experience in social media design and creation, and a portfolio that shows relevant examples 
• Awareness of current social media platforms and a knowledge of emerging platforms 
• Understanding of typography, layout, color, and grid structures
• A working knowledge of social media specs and design guidelines 
• The aptitude to learn new software and programs efficiently and effectively
• Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients
• The ability to interpret marketing ideas and turns them into visual reality at a best-in-class level 
• Experience with B2B, financial services, or highly regulated industries desirable 
• Expertise in Adobe photoshop, InDesign, illustrator, Figma, and Microsoft Powerpoint

• Successful candidates will possess a passion for creating content that engages social communities, in service of the brand’s objectives for their social audiences 
• Understanding of both B2B and consumer audiences, and the platforms and content formats that best reflect their behaviors on social media 
• Deep experience in designing content for the major social platforms, and a natural curiosity about emerging digital channels the brand’s audiences use 
• Keen interest in audience insights derived from social listening and platform observations, ability to translate those insights into content
• Takes ownership, responsibility, and pride in representing a world-class brand with professionalism and authority
