Canine Country Club and Wellness Center is looking for a rockstar kennel technician to join our team! We are a boarding, grooming and wellness center. Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, day shift, holidays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides daily care, feeding, grooming and exercise of boarding and grooming pets.
- Interacts with clients in-person and sometimes over the phone.
- Must pay close attention to details, understand and follow proper feeding and sanitation procedures
- Bathe pets of all sizes
- Monitor boarding guests
- Administer medications
- Assist during exams
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Comfortable on their feet for a majority of the day.
- Able to lift patients and carry equipment up to 50 pounds; ability to lift guests or carry equipment over 50 pounds with assistance
- Endure sitting, standing and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended periods
- Take safety precautions for exposure to toxins, drugs, anesthesia and radiation
