Job Description SS&C Innovest seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to join its quality assurance team. With offices in New York, Texas and California, SS&C Innovest specializes in trust, wealth management, payments, unique and hard‐to‐value assets, securities operations, and information systems. For our current opening we are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with excellent analytical and communication skills. They will join our Quality Assurance team, leading efforts to innovate, collaborate, and execute with a sense of urgency (without sacrifice to quality). Job Responsibilities Develop effective QA processes and procedural documents, and maintain changes accordingly Accurately estimate testing time Create and implement test scenarios and test cases to include both positive and negative unit testing as well as regression review Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality Identify and create test data needed for execution Utilize tools (i.e., Helpspot) to record, report, and track defects Work with the development and business analysis teams to resolve defects Provide production support of software products by investigating and recreating reported defects Collaborate with team members to identify causes of defects, conduct group testing, and perform regular system wide regression testing Ensure that defects are corrected and verified Keep defect tracking tool updated with current defect status and valid test cases Update test scripts based on upgrades and changes to software Create clear and concise testing summary reports Qualification Requirements Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution 2 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing 2 years of experience writing procedural documentation Extensive knowledge in software testing methodology and software development lifecycle Familiarity with multivalue database navigation and query languages Proficiency in writing test cases and test plans based on business requirement specifications MUST BE extremely self-sufficient, self-motivated and intuitive with strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills What will set you apart from the pack?
