Position Description: As a Technical Writer/Technical Editor, you will function as a communications and information specialist, preparing material for publications and other media internally and externally; gather information; write and edit technical, promotional and general interest materials; and coordinate publications and other collateral material using both print and electronic media including the web and desktop publishing software to draft, edit, and lay out material for distribution. You will have the responsibility for final reviews of proposed publications for style, design, layout, and editorial aspects before government approval

Qualifications: To qualify for this role, you should have the following background, credentials, and knowledge:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree
• 5-7 years of directly related experience as a Technical Writer 
• Experience using SharePoint 
• Experience with 508 Remediation
• Experience with creating/using styles and templates
• Strong copy-editing experience
