Anaheim Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is dedicated to providing its participants with comprehensive health and social supports that are proven to effectively manage chronic conditions and to reduce the risk for premature institutionalization. PACE staff are leaders in the “aging in place” industry and we have had the honor of serving Fresno, Bakersfield and Orange County seniors and their families/caregivers.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Marketing Supervisor, the Marketing Assistant will provide

marketing and administrative support to the Business Development department.

Essential Job Functions

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the management of company social media profiles
• Identify new opportunities for digital marketing and social media initiatives
• Write copy, manage contests, and publish content on social media
• Collaborate with Marketing Supervisor to maintain the monthly marketing calendar
• Capture marketing activities for organization by photo and video
• Create and distribute monthly member newsletter
• Support Business Development and Marketing department for marketing activity in the communities we serve
• Work with Intake department to develop and maintain monthly census report
• Represents the organization at targeted marketing events
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees as assigned.
• Adhere to and support the center’s practices, procedures, and policies including assigned break times and attendance.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner; and perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Be flexible in schedule of hours worked.
• May require use of personal vehicle

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of Canva or other graphic design experience
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for design
• Strong writing and copyediting skills
• Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing
• Self-sufficient worker; Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Proficient knowledge of computer skills. MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of general office procedures, equipment and filing systems.
• Ability to quickly learn department policies, procedures, goals, and services.
• Ability to change priorities regularly

• Ability to communicate verbally with an excellent comprehension of the English language
• Ability to access all areas of the center throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, 15 pounds frequently, and 7 pounds constantly; required to obtain assistance of another qualified employee when attempting to lift or transfer objects over 25 pounds.
• Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting, standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm movements, occasional bending, reaching forward and overhead; squatting and kneeling.
• Work is generally performed in an indoor, well-lighted, well-ventilated, heated, and airconditioned environment.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated successful experience in a marketing or communications-related position field
• Social media marketing experience strongly preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population.

Education and Certification

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (marketing, communications, public relations, journalism)
• CA Driver’s License required.
• Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.
