Job Summary

Inventory Clerk is responsible for their portion of the warehouse functions such as package deliveries, shipping, scanning and inventory along with other tasks upon the direction of the Facilities and Safety Manager. Inventory Clerk is accountable for the suitable handling and processing of all orders received in the shipping/receiving office and supply inventory.

Essential Job Functions

As an Inventory Clerk you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Receive shipment orders with high level of energy, accuracy, and attention to detail.

· Pack and deliver department orders considering the type of product, ensure no damage and minimal packaging material.

· Ensure that item delivered is scanned into inventory and verified with procurement as soon as it’s received.

· Close collaboration with procurement department, in effort to ensure purchases are delivered and acknowledged.

· Palletize, store, and organize items in inventory ensuring they are stored accordingly without damage. 

· Responsible for site supply inventory.

· Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to 

achieve the overall objectives of this position.

· Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate 

which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.

· Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees as assigned.

· Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner; and perform all other related duties as assigned.

· Be flexible in schedule of hours worked.

· May require use of personal vehicle

· Ability to access all areas of the warehouse throughout the workday.

· Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, 15 pounds frequently, and 7 pounds constantly; required to obtain assistance of

another qualified employee when attempting to lift or transfer objects over 25 pounds.

· Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting, standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm movements, 

occasional bending, reaching forward and overhead; squatting and kneeling.

· Able to perform responsibilities with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.

· Work with moderate exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperature.

· Warehouse office setting

Requirements

Experience 

· Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse experience

· Minimum of one (1) year of supply inventory experience

· Ability to work with minimal supervision 

· Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented 

· Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task

Education and Certifications(s):  

· High School diploma or GED required.

· Valid California driver’s license.

· Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant 

 contact.
