ICMS is looking for several Aircraft Mechanic I employees to join our Team in Elizabeth City, NC for both Day and Night Shift. Successful candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of Rotary-Wing Aircraft Maintenance experience. 

Requirements:

The aircraft mechanic I shall provide mechanical duties for the MRR Product Line and/or throughout ALC. The Primary task of the position will include, but is not limited to;

· Conducting the End of the Line Phase PDM Process. This includes completion of all required tasking within twenty-one (21) workdays of receipt of the aircraft. This includes the complete preparation and servicing of the aircraft during ground runs, test flights and certification flights. This also includes towing, fueling, re-working, troubleshooting and repairing any discrepancies generated through this phase of the PDM. When all aspects of the endo of line phase have been completed and prior of receipt of another aircraft, this position will perform other aircraft mechanical duties for the MRR Product Line and/or throughout the ALC.

· Perform flight line maintenance of assigned and transient operational aircraft, including functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing all airframe mechanical systems, or post assembly checkout, adjustment, and repair of overhauled and modified aircraft to prepare for and correct deficiencies found on functional flights.

· Repair and adjust aircraft mechanical systems such as hydraulic oil, fuel, pressurization, landing gear, cable controls, hydro-mechanical clutches and accessory drive gearboxes. Additionally, repair and maintain various and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems.

· Follows work orders, maintain logbooks and records. (EAL, PDM workbook, discrepancy book) Report errors or poorly presented or confusing information the COR.

· Demonstrate or explain proper techniques, method of operation and safety practices. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Clean lubricate and maintain work area tools and equipment. May transport, store and use hazardous materials.

· Performs the following; fuel sampling, fueling, defueling, aircraft towing, wing walking, preflight inspections, MPC Inspections/removal/installation of components. Perform calendar and hourly maintenance activities. Perform post PDM Torque checks, APU/Engine runs, and any other Aircraft maintenance duties as required.

Qualifications:

· Ability to demonstrate work methods and techniques.

· Possess extensive knowledge of a wide variety of parts, components, and complex assemblies associated with aircraft systems.

· Ability to rig, function test, or troubleshoot the systems; determine when they are operating or whether portions of the system must be repaired or replaced; and the type and extent of adjustment and alignment needed.

· Must have knowledge of the makeup, operation, installation and adjustment of a variety of major interrelated and/or integrated aircraft systems, subsystems, and assemblies such as fuel and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, instrumentation systems, engine(s), landing gear assemblies, airframe and control surfaces.

· Have skills in the use of the standard and specialize tools of the trade including fixtures, templates, scales, test stands, and external power sources.

· Have skills in reading and understanding data and settings from the cockpit instruments and gauges.

· Understand and manage supply procedures to initiate requisitions for needed parts/supplies and a knowledge of the Publication Order System to obtain Up-to-Date Technical Manuals and propose changes if there is a discrepancy. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, sketches and other related documents.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to reach, bend walk, pull, sit, stand, crouch, stoop, kneel and stretch for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. unaided and 50 lbs. with a lifting device or assistance from another worker. May be required to work in cramped, awkward and strained positions. May need to climb ladders, work on platforms, scaffolding or aircraft structures.

· Understanding and skill in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling toxic materials present including hexavalent, chromium and cadmium. Knowledge of safe and proper protocols for handling materials common to the trade.

Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 6:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. EST Monday thru Friday 40 hours per week

Night Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. EST Monday thru Friday 40 hours per week.
