Job Description

As a Training Specialist, you play a vital role in our growing company. You are the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process from start to finish. You conduct online software training sessions covering areas such as revenue management, accounting, housekeeping, reservation system, and trust accounting. The Training Specialist is the “go-to” person for problems concerning “how to” perform specific tasks within the software, ensuring the client is fully trained in the software before go live.

What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

  • Works independently to design and deliver training material that educates clients on products and system functionality
  • Self-managing, requiring minimal supervision and quick to pick up new skills
  • Strong communication skills with a pragmatic and pro-active attitude
  • Relationship building with new clients
  • Learn and share best practices for system set up
  • Develop online learning plans using an LMS
  • Organization is key – you will be managing many accounts at a time
  • Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills with the ability to produce simple solutions to complex problems
  • Documentation of meetings, help center articles, and status of each account
  • Cross-sell internal & external products relevant to the client
  • Participate in feedback on how to optimize or improve the process, department, or company
  • Become a LiveTrust accounting subject matter expert
  • Onboard new and existing partners to LiveTrust accounting from the legacy statements and reports
  • Assist in keeping help center articles up to date based on release notes to keep partners self-sufficient and up to date
  • Identify new training needs and collaborate with team members and management to continually improve onboarding and training

Qualifications


What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

Preferred

  • 3 years technical training experience.
  • 2 years of vacation rental industry experience

Required:

  • Enthusiast, strong work ethic, and positive “can-do” attitude above all
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to think creatively and take intimate in any environment, setting and achieving goals and scheduled deadlines
  • Professionalism and clarity in your verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Must be able to think outside the box
  • Excellent listener, communicator, and presenter

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
