POSITION SUMMARY: A Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) of any level is responsible for maintaining a high degree of quality that meets Info Cubic’s goal of achieving a 99.98% accuracy rating or better. The QAS will ensure that all searches are completed correctly, accurately, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and ensure compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
• Perform regular and consistent internal reviews of data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all internal procedures are correctly followed regarding the processing of public record data. 
• Apply federal, state, and client-specific public record reporting guidelines.
• Communicate with external vendors and courts/State Repositories regarding record data, turnaround times, and client inquiries. 
• Perform additional research-related duties as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (LEVEL-SPECIFIC)

The key responsibilities of Quality Assurance Specialists will be the same for all levels; however, each level will be responsible for specific tasks/duties. While each team member will be cross-functional, priorities are listed below.

QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST LEVEL 1

Primary Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist Level 1 focuses mainly on processing public record searches as well as reviewing the results of both internal and external Researchers to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, internal, and Client restrictions and instructions. Work shall be processed with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with turnaround time requirements. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Obtain ETA’s from external vendors in order to communicate turnaround times to clients and internal staff
• Manage personal work queue and other assigned searches to quality check public record results from internal and external Researchers
• Contact courts and other external sources to obtain information on assigned orders
• Identify and document errors and assist in root cause analysis and determining actions to prevent reoccurrence

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Criminal Justice Degree preferred
• Two or more years of experience in court research, criminal justice, or quality assurance
• Strong attention to detail, with significant analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent research and communication skills
• Knowledge of the background check/pre-employment screening industry is a plus
• Knowledge of court processes and terminology
• Experienced with computers and Microsoft Software is required
