Position Title: Business Analyst

Summary:

Cyber Division (CyD) is the leading federal agency in safeguarding of our nation’s 17 critical infrastructure sectors. This effort requires tremendous communication and coordination efforts between federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, between and with our trusted private/public sector partners, and increased collaboration between the 56 national field offices and other headquarters divisions.

Duties:

• Provides analytical support while serving to help identify the scope and objectives of project engagements, as well as, remain focused on performance measures and indicators.
• Serves as analytical resource on engagement team by helping to formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
• Assumes responsibility for analyzing and documenting data, conducting extensive research, and integrating business solutions. Performs financial and data modeling, evaluates current processes, and prepares appropriate documentation for client.
• Maintains accountability for process deliverables and business presentations to client.
• Coordinate the procurement of goods and of physical federal property.
• Assistance the CLSU SharePoint logistics teams’ ticketing request system to include tracking property items, supply and logistical requests.
• Respond to a ticket request within 12 duty hours and/or when the request was submitted by the customer.
• Assist with escorting non-SCI cleared division visitors performing service for the division.
• Assist with tracking/assigning workforce seating within the facility.
• Distribute procured goods and physical federal property.
• Document all phases of the federal procurement process.
• If accountable property does not have a record already established in the FBI’s Asset Management System (AMS), then the Contractor will have 12 hours to build the property record into AMS before the property is released to the assigned Cost Code owner
• Perform market research.
• Track status of pending procurement activities (to include shipping and delivery dates).
• Complete application transactions identifying receipt of all accountable and non-accountable property for financial tracking purposes.
• Distribute received procurement items, induction of and assigning of inventory property control numbers (when necessary).
• Assist with the logistical processes of accounting for the furniture/workstation property to include movement, relocation and assembly / disassembly with Government oversight.
• Track, locate, induct, distribute and dispose of federal inventory/ property items.
• Assist with quarterly, annual, and/or specially assigned accountable property inventory activities.
• Administrative actions directly related to federal property inventory and accountability actions.
• Pick up and sign for (as required) Bureau delivered mail and packages during the normal duty day.
• Daily distribution of mail to the appropriate mail slot for the section or unit in the mail room
• For packages addressed specifically to a CyD employee, an email shall be sent informing the employee a package has been received and is awaiting pickup from the mail room

Requirements

• Clearance: Top Secret – SCI eligible
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Experience A minimum of four (4) years of total experience comprised of at least minimum 2 years of general experience and 2 years of specific industry experience.
• Provides strong analytical support while serving to help identify the scope and objectives of project engagements, as well as, provide analytical support and research within the firm on a day-to-day basis.
• This position completes assigned engagement tasks within the project scope and budget, while meeting deliverable requirements.
• This position conducts research, and collects and distills data.
• Two (2) years of experience with logistical or purchasing activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in development and completion of assigned tasks.
• Responsiveness to customer and the client’s requirements.
• Demonstration of excellent customer support and experience working with competing priorities
