Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW:

To use your unique talents, experience, skills, education, and enthusiasm to lead the Operations team and to recognize that your contribution is essential to the vision of Infiltrator Water Technologies. Manages, directs, and coordinates overall production operations at the EZflow plant. Assures that plant objectives are achieved in an efficient and cost-effective manner while ensuring safety, production, and quality standards are maintained.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train and direct the activities of production personnel in the areas of safety.
  • Responsible for meeting IWT’s quality standards always – World Class People Producing World Class Products.
  • Promote teamwork throughout the plant.
  • Coordinate with Team leads to ensure that all safety, daily production goals, and quality standards are being met.
  • Supervise the activities of Team Leaders, Lead Operators, and general production labor.
  • The Plant Manager is responsible for the maintenance of employee calendars, documentation of corrective action, counseling, vacation scheduling and appropriate staffing to meet production needs within budget limits. Measure and identify opportunities to reduce employee turnover.
  • Train and direct the activities of production personnel in the areas of equipment operation, quality control requirements, standards and procedures, and recognition of material which should be scrapped or reused.
  • Monitor machine efficiency records / tally sheets, analyze, and assist in determining problems when efficiency rate is below standard.
  • Monitor general labor including Full Time and Temporary Labor, OT, and overall labor metrics pursuing the Corporate Goal of driving Continuous Improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary production records, machine efficiency records, scrap reports, and other reports as required.
  • Ensure all housekeeping tasks are performed daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
  • Schedule production to meet customer demand and safety stock requirements.
  • Experience with a MRP system, Logistics, and have general freight industry knowledge.
  • Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including Automation (Robotics, AGV’s, AMR’s. PLC, Pneumatics, Electrical, and data management).
  • Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including hydraulics, thermodynamics, welding, etc. Work with the EZflow Project Engineer or maintenance technician to ensure proper PM’s and maintenance activities are being executed on all equipment.
  • Support physical inventory (raw materials and finished goods), ordering and receiving, general MRP entries, and demonstrate general business acumen.
  • May perform the duties of a Team Leader or Logistics Coordinator as required.
  • Understands and controls drivers for costs and production capabilities, adjusted to production volumes. Develops budget inputs for plant operations based on sales plans.
  • Controls inventory (raw materials; finished goods; parts and supplies) to minimize variance each month.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATIONAL, AND TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Our Plant Managers must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role, supervision, or management in a manufacturing or other high paced / customer focused environment. He/she must have the ability to provide technical

guidance through experience and industry knowledge. He/she should possess strong people skills, leadership qualities, managerial abilities, a sense of urgency, accountability, business ethics, professionalism, self-motivation, and the desire

and focus to improve the business. Our candidate must be able to communicate effectively through written, oral, or other technology platforms and understand English. Our candidate must possess an eagerness to create, maintain, and raise

expectations toward a world class manufacturing facility.
