Job Title: Scheduler H33 Role synopsis: The Maintenance Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling all routine maintenance and non-routine project activities to be executed by INEOS AROMATICS and contract crafts to perform preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal interruption to production. The scheduler is the main contact person between INEOS maintenance, third party contractors and operations in relation to determining the timing and execution of planned maintenance work. This role will back up the maintenance planners as needed. The purpose of the scheduler position is to perform the full scheduling and some limited planning duties for routine maintenance and projects as needed. This position will be responsible to pull ready-to-schedule jobs from SAP as decided by the Maintenance Coordinators and the Ready to Schedule backlog. These jobs will be loaded to Primavera (P6) for leveling craft resources. A one-week fixed schedule of work will be the minimum standard for routine jobs. The basic function of this role is to develop, communicate, and maintain a workable schedule according to priorities set by Operations and SAP backlog. This position will also be responsible for documenting/reporting of manpower utilization and schedule compliance percentages. The Scheduler will work directly with the Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Supervisors, Project Engineers and Maintenance Coordinators along with other key groups. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Reviews manpower availability on a weekly basis and produce the daily/weekly maintenance schedules for all stakeholders. Drives continuous improvement in the scheduling process to meet site performance metric goals. Manage work order PM schedules to optimize simultaneous execution of work. Facilitate the daily schedule review meeting and the weekly scheduling meeting. Ensure that PMs are scheduled in Primavera so they will meet their compliance dates. Review Ready to Schedule jobs and load into Primavera for scheduling. Level resources in Primavera for population of weekly schedule. Obtains preliminary and final approvals from the Maintenance Coordinators for work schedule. Update schedule to reflect daily job status and execution. Generate Key Performance Indicators for routine maintenance work execution. Performs planning duties when workload requires. Complete special projects as directed by the. Planning and Scheduling Team lead Skills & Knowledge Required: Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required Advanced understanding of planning and scheduling fundamentals. Advanced user in SAP and Primavera. Previous experience in a scheduling position in a dynamic manufacturing environment and experience in planning for crafts. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Work and Excel. Strong understanding of CMMS systems (SAP preferred). Preferred experience in Transporters (SAP to primavera interface). Working knowledge of Maintenance Work Process or similar maintenance management program. Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment in the maintenance of an industrial facility. Knowledge of safety hazards, regulations, company standards and appropriate precautions applicable to industrial or chemical plant work assignments is preferred. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other personnel. Must have excellent communication skills in English.
