Construction Project Manager Position Overview:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, supervising and executing all construction aspects of IWT’s expansion projects.
Responsibilities:
Work with management to develop a plan to complete all work by the deadline
Work with management to develop a budget to complete all work for the project
Work with management to develop a timeline for the project
Keep management informed of progress and any issues
Direct and supervise internal construction crew
Work with third parties and subcontractors to bid and assign jobs
Manage relationships with third parties and subcontractors
Supervise and hold third parties and subcontractors accountable for safety, quality and completion of each job
Qualifications:
Common sense
Honest and trustworthy
Strong work ethic
Deadline oriented
Skilled at time management
Leadership experience
2 years of project management experience
Construction experience is a must
Industrial construction experience is ideal
Residential/commercial construction experience also valuable
Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
Subcontractor management experience
Experience in the following areas is a plus:
Electrical
Equipment operating
Plumbing
Solar technology
