Assignment Focus:

As our Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for sourcing, coordinating, and scheduling of in-bound and out-bound freight and logistics, both domestic and international. You will also assist our Customer Care and Supply Chain Team as needed in handling orders and coordinating with warehouse personnel, suppliers, and carriers to ensure on time delivery of our product.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, coordinate and schedule domestic incoming and outgoing shipments via freight and/or rail cars
• Process Ocean/Air freight booking with freight forwarder
• Coordinate and schedule delivery logistics by working closely with drivers, supply chain and customer care in order to achieve on-time deliveries with superior quality products
• Update and maintain freight rate spreadsheet
• Analyze all aspects of international and domestic logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products that meets budget performance and minimizes transit times
• Review and distribute all shipping documents, including commercial invoice, BOL, letter of credit, certificate of insurance, certificates of origin and any other required documents
• Auditing/approving and entering invoices received by carriers into ERP System
• Other duties and responsibilities as determined by the management team

Requirements

• 2 years’ global shipping and logistics experience
• Working knowledge of both export & import logistics
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and Word
• Strong customer service, organizational, verbal and written skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Technical or college courses are a plus
