Maintenance Technician – Senior Living Community
Our family owned and award-winning Senior Living Community, is searching for mature, reliable, and capable individuals to join our maintenance department. We have full and part time positions available in a remarkable environment where you are valued and make a difference! We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician to help manage the general maintenance and curb appeal of our apartment community. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being hands-on and helping residents.
Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician are as follows:
- Perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, painting, and electrical. Installation of new appliances as needed.
- Ensure resident requested service orders are completed on a timely basis.
- Assist in maintaining the exterior of the building and property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental laws.
- Additional duties as needed and directed.
Qualifications
The qualifications of the Maintenance Technician are as follows:
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. HVAC certification is strongly preferred.
- Good communication skills; the ability to work well with others productively and respectfully.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
- Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
