INAMAX is a management consulting firm operating multiple gaming and retail companies across several states. We offer retailers the expertise needed to add or improve current terminal gaming operations, such as COAM, VLT, and VGT. We help our partners successfully manage risk while adding a highly profitable revenue stream and leveraging underutilized space.

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing team here at INAMAX powered by Ultra.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and advocating high quality across an increasing amount of customized user experiences while maximizing the engineering velocity of deployed changes. Along with UX, Product, and software developers, you are a subject matter expert on everything we test and build.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Test current products and identifying deficiencies
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • A team player who can collaborate with Product Development team and Product managers
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Suggest solutions to identified product problems 
  • Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
  • Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement and test automation 
  • Identify key KPIs for product quality
  • Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Perform other testing duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 4-7 years of experience as a quality assurance engineer
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and tools (like JMeter, Load Runner or similar)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and tools (like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Contour or similar)
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Preferred Experience

  • Nice to have an experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies and other
  • Nice to have hardware testing knowledge

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skill

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
