This Project Management Role will be integral to delivering Projects within large programs and managing up to senior IT VP and IT Sr Business Relationship Managers. Candidates need to possess demonstrated skills in delivering software development projects for IT systems. Candidate should have a deep knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Scrum Methodologies. Preference for development or engineering experience, automation, supply chain, etc. IF no technology background, supply chain experience is a must. Education: Bachelor?s degree, PMP certification or Scrum Master certification, or equivalent.
Essential Duties:
- Drives consolidation and manages multiple work streams into one cohesive program
- Effectively communicates project/program issues, provides remediation and status to program stakeholders and upper management
- Provides support for project planning, execution, tracking, communications and reporting on project workstreams
- Facilitates backlog grooming sessions and reviews and prioritizes with the Scrum team the project stories and deliverables.
- Manages time, budget, scope, and manages resource allocations.
- Tracks issues and risks for the project.
- Schedules and facilitates US Foods project delivery Toll Gates
- Manages defect resolution process
- Conducts Agile Scrum events and project sprint demonstrations.
- Builds forecasts and maintains accountability for timesheet management.
Experience:
- 5 years' experience in project management.
- Prior experience in working across IT and Business organizations to deliver projects with multiple work streams
- Demonstrated experience employing established project methodologies ?
Agile Scrum, and Waterfall
- Expertise with Microsoft Project Desktop required.
- Expertise with Microsoft Project Online (PWA) in a PPM environment preferred
- Automation experience preferred.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm typically. Occasional longer days.
Location: Remote and onsite as needed by project.
