Imperial Healthcare Group is Hiring a HR Director Near Lancaster, PA

Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation is a 446 BED long term care facility on a large beautiful campus close to downtown Lancaster, PA. We are seeking a HR Director who will supervise a HR Coordinator and actively participate in facility leadership meetings.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW

As the HR Director you will plan, direct & coordinate a fast-paced human resources department. You will maintain functions such as payroll, recruitment, employee relations, personnel policies, & regulatory compliance in addition to various administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.

• Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.

• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.

• Payroll administration

-Keeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations

• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.

• Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, 401k plan, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence.

• Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.

• Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.

• Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.

• Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.

Qualifications

Familiarity with Department of Health Surveys preferred

Minimum of 5 years of comparable Human Resources experience, preferable in long term care.

Effective organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

Proficient reading, comprehension, writing, and mathematical ability

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Interest in working with senior population

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
