Overview

Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a position open in Stockton, CA. We are looking for a Warehouse Lead who will be managing and overseeing activities related to product replenishment, order selection, order loading, providing management and direction to warehouse staff and ensuring safety and security of the inbound and outbound warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities

• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on workresults
• Maintains shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program,operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Responsible for overseeing the loading of trucks efficiently, accurately and on time
• Responsible for monitoring workflow of employees while pulling orders and loading trucks
• Maintains and enforces a safe work environment
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse
• Works with day shift manager to monitor workflow and tasks
• Coordinate safety concerns with safety coordinator
• Engage with employees by conducting daily tailgate sessions and quarterly safety meetings
• Collaborate with other departments throughout the company
• Insure employee success through relationship building, effective communication, positive recognition and timelyaddressing of issues (personal and performance related)
• Oversee perfect order campaign goals to ensure that goals are met for the quarter
• Reports to Warehouse manager in order to reach new goals for crew and train on any new subjects/duties pastdown to night shift.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3 years of proven work experience as a Warehouse Associate
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Safety Management, surveillance and inventory control skills
• Excellent communication skills
