Overview

Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a position open in Jersey City, NJ. Our HR Department has an exciting opportunity for an HR Coordinator who is interested in being a part of a dynamic environment, wants to grow and development as an HR professional. Reporting to the Vice President of HR, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day HR administration, maintain HR records and employee files, while assisting in various HR projects, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for administering new hire onboarding, managing exit interviews, conducting background check investigations, and setting up pre-employment drug tests
  • Handle inquiry, collection and/or entry of employment data as needed
  • Process employment verifications
  • Support enrollment and benefits for new employees and during open enrollment periods
  • Experience in reviewing workers compensation and audits
  • Incorporating employee schedules into workforce timekeeper system (ADP eTIME), in a timely and efficient manner
  • Liaise with other departments (payroll, benefits, talent acquisition) to ensure seamless workflow

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in HR related role
  • California and warehouse/union experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now and ADP eTIME preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws for reporting
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment; able to handle confidential information
  • Strong attention to detail; excellent communication skills both written and oral.
