Imperative Care is Hiring a Director Communications Near Campbell, CA

SUMMARY: Lead and execute a cohesive communication strategy for multiple audiences including employees, healthcare providers, investors, etc. in support of Imperative Care’s mission to transform the way life is lived.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:

  • Establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy that engages and inspires employees, customers, investors with Imperative Care’s vision and business strategy
  • Assist subsidiaries with establishment and roll out of communications strategy that aligns with corporate messaging
  • Prepare and manage all communications material for corporate
  • Develop a brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
  • Provide consulting to executives and leaders and ensure consistent messaging among the leadership team and across the organization
  • Support the cultivation of Imperative Care culture through internal/employee messaging
  • Represent the voice of the employee to leadership and in messaging
  • Manage press releases for corporate and media relations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate communications strategy into key marketing, HR, etc. employee engagement initiatives
  • Partner with HR team on issues and opportunities to strengthen internal/employee communications efforts/plans
  • Partner to identify communications opportunities that connect leadership with employees, and develop and implement key messages and communications materials
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of internal communications activities across the different companies
  • Create metrics for understanding corporate awareness, messaging effectiveness, and employee communications engagement
  • Develop relationships with media members, influencers and physician leaders
  • Lead in the creation of digital, video, audio and print content
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications marketing or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in communications, preferably both agency and corporate experiences
  • Excellent writing capabilities and oral communication skills required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies
  • Understand principles of copywriting, graphic design, layout and publishing
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and social media platforms
  • Creative thinker and problem-solver; Goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Prioritizes multiple responsibilities and projects, manages time with skill
  • Proactive, collaborative, and results-driven work style
  • Ability to work as a team member, be flexible and adaptable, and to work under pressure
  • Travel requirements: 10-15%
  • Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required
  • Prior medical device or bio-tech experience preferred but not required
