We are currently looking for a Manager – Learning & Development to join our Human Resources team at our corporate office in Griffin, GA (after training, role can be hybrid). Bring your previous experience in instructional design, developing training programs, and delivering quality employee development strategies and take advantage of this great opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization that provides a team environment with lots of growth potential.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in learning & development, be highly organized and possess attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency, have exceptional communication skills, and the proven ability to build relationships and foster teamwork. Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, lead, and execute effective learning programs and talent development strategies across the company
  • Pilot the development of management training programs for Impact’s people managers
  • Create a culture of continuous development and also monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs
  • Utilize available resources to organize, develop, and prioritize learning plans and curricula that align with Impact’s strategic priorities
  • Responsible for managing the overall performance of new and ongoing development initiatives and training programs
  • Manage skills training for individuals and groups to ensure all employees are keeping up to date with required skills
  • Design and administer skills gap assessments with employees to create individualized training plans needed to strengthen their existing skills or learn new ones
  • Build a training portal and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Analyze employee training needs and develop training programs as needed, or modify existing programs to meet specific staff needs
  • Evaluate current training programs and instructor training methods to identify weaknesses or shortcomings and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop procedures for skills assessments to evaluate new hires
  • Develop training and educational materials for current staff and new hires, including visual aids, multimedia tools, training booklets and more

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge to develop and design, deliver, and evaluate impactful training content
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills & moderating groups
  • Experience with LMS systems
  • Prior experience developing and implementing corporate training programs
  • Must have a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
