The Job Overview 
We are seeking a dedicated Microsoft Power Platform developer to join our growing company. We are looking for someone who is motivated by emerging low-code technologies and has a passion to help clients drive technology transformation. The successful candidate is hands-on, able to contribute individually, and has experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
 
As a Power Platform developer, you will work with business analysts and process owners to define requirements and develop dashboards, bots, and applications per best practices. You may also be tasked with monitoring and maintaining existing Power Platform items, including root cause analysis for failures and recommendations for corrective actions. 
 
Responsibilities 
Below are some of the responsibilities a Power Platform developer experience is expected to assume in this position: 

  • Design, develop, and implement new custom components to meet project requirements. 
  • Work with other developers to implement Power Platform to leverage a wide variety of APIs and connectors. 
  • Ability to convert existing low-code components to the Power Platform. 

Job Qualifications And Skill Sets 

  • 2 – 4 years of successful experience implementing, maintaining, and improving Power Platform components 
  • Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps developer certifications / advanced developer certifications a plus. 
  • Experience working with Process Mining, NLP, Computer Vision, and automation testing is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of SDLC and modern software engineering principles and practices. 
  • Ability to break down complex problems into a variety of simple and generic problems. 
  • Comfortable with client interaction. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and productively with others. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Education/Certifications  

  • Bachelors degree in computer information systems, programming engineering, technology and/or relevant professional Microsoft certifications. 

Physical Demands 
 
Requires the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work. Some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at keyboard or workstation.
