Immanuel Lutheran Child Development Center is looking for an experienced teacher who is comfortable working with children ages six weeks to six years of age in a structured, curriculum based setting. Pay ranges from $11.00 to $15.00 depending on years of experience in the early childhood education field and education. Canidates must be CPR and First Aid certified and have a cleared background check, or be willing to complete these requirments before their start date.
Job requirments include, but are not limited to:
-Using curriculum to teach engaging lessons to children of all ages.
-Changing diapers and assisting with potty training.
-Helping children reach milestones and goals.
-Communicating daily with parents through an app as well as in person.
-Conducting assesments and parent-teacher conferences bi-annually.
-Charting children's progress and daily events in an app to share important information with parents such as meal times, potty attempts/diaper changes, nap times, accomplishments, and more.
-Assisting lead teachers in creating dynamic lesson plans each month that focus on art, music, science, math, language, physical education, music, literacy, social and emotional development, STEM, and more.
-Helping to keep clean and organized classrooms to provide an outstanding learning and work environment.
-Completing ongoing development and training through Idaho STARS and other early education platforms.
