Illuminate seeks an exceptionally qualified Information Systems Security Officer to support a government customer.

Responsibilities
- Conducts research, develops, implements, test, and reviews an applications information security IAW DoD/NIST RMF requirements in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access.
- Direct the team about security measures, explain potential threats, implement security measures, and monitor applications in order to meet or exceed all DoD/NIST RMF requirements, resulting in faster and more accurate software releases.
- Troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements and other issues related to systems security.
- Particpates in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications and security related activities
- Apply relevant elements within DoD 8510 and NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework during work performance
Qualifications
- Clearance: Top Secret//SCI
- Polygraph: current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related field and 8 years or more years of ISSO experience
- Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2
- Possess acute knowledge and practical experience of DoD 8510 and NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework, respectively
- Must be analytical with mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in financial management.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership and conflict management skills.
- CISSP Certified preferred.
