As a team member of the ILC Resources, Jasper quarry staff, candidate is needed to operate rock crushing plant. Plant operator will run crushing plant crusher, conveyors and screens. Plant operator will complete housekeeping duties with skid steer and/or shoveling. Plant operator will complete basic maintenance tasks, such as greasing, changing screens, bearings, rollers and assist with other maintenance operations. Candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions, around loud noises and in dusty/muddy conditions.

Current shift is 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the work week is 45 hours with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Role pays overtime for any hours over 40.

Role Responsibilities

50%

Operate crushing plant.

40%

Plant inspections, housekeeping, and basic equipment maintenance.

10%

Complete safety inspections, daily shift reports and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ø Work Experience: One-year experience operating heavy mobile equipment, tractors, skid steer or crushing/conveying equipment.

Ø Education: High School diploma or GED

Other Expectations

Ø Candidate: must be able to climb ladders while using three points of contact, occasionally lift 75 pounds, wear PPE, walk over uneven ground, grasp, or reach equipment and be able to sit for long periods of time.
