Ikonix USA is looking for a Business Development Specialist to add to its Sales team!

Our goal is to keep people safe from the dangers of electrical shock. Ikonix USA manufactures electrical safety compliance instruments and power sources. Our customers use our instruments to ensure they are producing and shipping products that are safe to use.

SUMMARY

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for communicating with customers within the territory on a regular basis to develop relationships and better understand their needs. Creates and maintains a sales plan for the assigned territory that meets or exceeds goals. Establishes and manages sales accounts within the assigned territory. Identifies and develops new customer acquisition plans for potential leads.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related degree
  • 2 years of outside sales experience
  • Strong presentation & technical skills

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visit customers to provide demonstrations, presentations, training, and setup
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries from customers
  • Provide technical support assistance for customers and potential customers
  • Follow through with all marketing-based, referral and other such customer leads
  • Develop sales plans and forecasts for assigned territories
  • Coordinate sales activities with inside sales team

TRAVEL

  • Required travel up to 25% internationally

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Position is a hybrid work schedule, 3 days home, 2 days onsite

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, hear, read and requires use of hands
  • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk
  • The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
