Job Description As a Maintenance Planner /Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating a broad spectrum of preventive, routine, repair and emergency maintenance activities at the plant, using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a primary tool. Ensuring appropriate resources are in place and ready for work orders based on workload, skill sets, available parts, etc. Scoping out and developing work for hourly personnel for weekly and outage work. Maintaining and building equipment, bill of material, and other info in a computerized maintenance management database. Creating, updating and scheduling monthly PM’s, closing out completed PM’s, and improving/adjusting PM’s as necessary. Tracking all equipment information, including spare parts and documentation OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE; Associates Degree in a technical field preferred. Two years of experience in industrial maintenance planning/scheduling preferred. Two years of hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in mechanical design is a plus. Strong computer skill and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
