Our Global IT team plays a critical role in ensuring solutions development and delivery excellence and an engaging customer experience while demonstrating IKO's Values of Sharing Knowledge, Integrity, Long-Term Thinking, Performance, Humility, and Agility The Senior Project Manager role will lead & directly manage the selection and subsequent implementation of a new ERP at one of our US-based entities. PM will report to Director, Application Strategy WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE; Planning, executing and controlling all project management activities including scope management, requirements management, coordinating technical design and development teams, testing, communication management, issue/ risk management, budget and resource management. Provide leadership in PM processes and best practices to IT team members. Ensures information and operational issues concerning project status(schedules, deliverables, costs, risks, issues) passes to-and-from stake holders, project team, and management. Own complete project life cycle from definition to completion including deploying sustainable support models. Demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate, lead and influence teams that do not directly report to PM, including the implementation partner. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Large equipment rental solution experience BS/BA Degree in Computer Science and/or Business Management. 10 years’ experience in IT project management, PMP certified. Cloud based Project experience Experienced with use of PPM tools, such as Planview. Proficient in project management practices, a highly effective communicator and experienced in dealing with managing multiple complex projects concurrently. Experienced with managing deployments of externally procured solutions, or development through deployment of in-house built solutions. Working project experience in global companies across various time zones. Key Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and oral Worked in a global environment Testing methodologies Metrically based decision making Best practices experience Training and facilitation skills Analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to influence stakeholders and building consensus Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment Ability to manage a team with a diversity of cultures and people on remote locations and to stimulate collaboration is such an environment Proven success at managing change projects with ability to problem solve at detailed level and maintain a macro level view.
