Position Responsibilities

• Design facilities and manage installation with field construction operations. 
• Communicate with marketing and legal to establish and construct interconnects for oil, gas, and water. 
• Work in conjunction with construction operations staff to ensure production target dates and cost controls are met. 
• Work with reservoir engineers to determine anticipated volumes and provide input on project economics. 
• Collaborate with regulatory to reduce operating costs with commingling. 
• Partner with production engineers to optimize production by debottlenecking facilities. 
• Work together with construction and operation personnel in the field to maintain and preserve asset integrity. 
• Responsible for cost containment and regulatory compliance in concert with EHS personnel. 
• Recommend and procure appropriate surface equipment for hydrocarbon handling and processing. 
• Interface with Land, Accounting, Geology, Regulatory and other departments to coordinate the daily operations of producing oil and gas wells. 
• Work closely with management to meet financial, production and other corporate goals. 
• Update best practices and work with engineering and production teams to apply continuous process improvement concepts.
• Support Supply Chain department in procurement activities including regular vendor meetings, request for procurement (RFP) and performance feedback.
• Provide engineering support as needed for bolt on acquisitions or new basin development opportunities.
• Ability to work in fast paced agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or like degree and experience.
• 6-10 years of industry experience with 3 years of Production/Facilities Engineering experience.
• Experience in San Juan Basin assets, preferred.
• Experience with Open Wells or similar software, PowerBI and the full suite of Microsoft Office tools preferred
• Experience in creating well site diagrams and P&ID’s for associated projects.
• Experience in pipeline modeling for produced water and natural gas. 
• Operational knowledge with right sizing field compression, ranging in 20 HP to over 1300 HP, SWD’s, and Gathering Systems preferred. 
• Willing to travel to the field.
• Excellent communication skills & working in team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
