Position: CDL Water Truck Driver- Class A

Area: West Area

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Wage Range: $25 to $30 per hour

IHC Scott is seeking a CDL Class A Water Truck Driver with a tanker endorsement to help build our heavy civil project in Cheyenne, WY.

Responsibilities:

- Operate construction trucks in a safe and efficient manner, on and off highway. Trucks could include: water truck, dump truck and flatbed truck.

- Complete required driver logs & recordkeeping.

- Perform Daily inspections and advise supervisor of repairs and maintenance required.

- Read and understand operation manuals for trucks other equipment operating.

- Recognize risks and hazards on job site working in close proximity with heavy equipment and crew members.

- Assist and work with others on construction crews.

- Driver will perform manual labor activities with paving crews.

- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-2 years of CDL driving experience

- Tanker endorsement

- Bilingual is preferred

- Must be familiar with DOT regulations & maintain current CDL & DOT medical card.

- Must have an insurable driving record

- High levels of skill in performing duties listed above

- Heavy civil construction, road building, and concrete experience preferred

- Attention and commitment to safety

- Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively in a team environment

- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 20 pounds

- Must be at least 18 years of age
