IHMVCU is recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Leader to join the team in our headquarters in Moline, IL.

The successful candidate should have the following skills/qualifications:

  • 4 years of Continuous Improvement leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Business (or related field) or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement and quality methodologies
  • Experience in process mapping, root cause analysis, journey mapping and value stream mapping
  • Ability to make decisions based on data and in the best interest of the Credit Union
  • Ability to lead large, diverse group meetings and trainings
  • Ability to provide solutions that meet/exceed member or internal customer needs
  • Ability to focus across multiple projects
  • Excellent project management and change management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent training skill

Summary of the Position:

The Continuous Improvement Leader will be responsible for leading the organization's overall direction, coordination, coaching and training of the continuous improvement process methodology. They are also responsible for leading the organization through journey mapping, value streams and other process improvement tools and techniques to ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This position will not be expected to be an expert in all processes, but rather to be responsible for leading and guiding departments and individuals to ensure adherence that standards are met and complied with set forth by this role.

What are some of the job responsibilities?

  • Provide Training and Coaching of continuous improvement concepts, tools, methodologies, and materials
  • Serves as a thought leader and change agent to embed continuous improvement processes within IT/PMO by developing skills and teams to embrace and adopt the continuous improvement culture
  • Develop the IH Continuous Improvement program standards and responsible for adherence to organizational continuous improvement methodologies, standards and compliance.
  • Provide Training and Coaching of continuous improvement concepts, tools, methodologies, and materials.
  • Identify, implement and maintain a documentation tool containing overviews, definitions, and global process documentation
  • Serve as Project Manager for Continuous Improvement events and projects.
  • Report quantitative improvements to supervisor and executive team for measuring improvements.
  • Will be responsible for leading large groups of employees as an influential leader in events with the ability to guide employees who they may not have direct oversight of.
  • Train and work closely with Learning and Development Team to develop Continuous Improvement training though all trainings.
