Our brand new, state-of-the-art Financial Center is currently under construction on Merle Hay Road and set to open to the public Summer 2023! The Des Moines team will include a Branch Manager, an Assistant Branch Manager and Financial Coaches to help serve the community with their financial journeys. Branch Manager role:

The Branch Manager is responsible for creating exceptional member experiences through motivated and knowledgeable team members. This role will manage service and successful sales operations to maximize member relationships as well as a deep community involvement. This position will successfully handle a variety of member situations with professionalism, integrity and confidentiality. The Branch Manager will be expected to make sound decisions, keeping the balance between exceptional service and the overall reputation of the organization in mind. Provide leadership, motivation and direction for branch team members through coaching and mentoring in a fun and energetic work environment.

The successful candidate will call for the following experience and skills:

• At minimum three years financial institution or related experience; leadership role will require management experience within a financial service environment.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Strong performance history of proven relationship building.
• Proven success in Business Development and Community Involvement, cultivating and deepening current relationships while establishing new business client base.
• Strong leadership skills with a professional attitude and ability to motivate and coach the team.
• Thorough knowledge of relationship building, product and services; ensures appropriate application of the credit union's policies and procedures.
• Ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, and coordinate multiple projects.
• Interpersonal skills to represent the credit union in a positive way, both internally and externally at all times.
• Ability to demonstrate IHMVCU's culture and core values.
• Must be eligible for NMLS registration.
• Must possess or attain CUNA FiCEP/CCUFC designation within first 12 months.
• Travel to and from Headquarters office (Moline, Illinois) and surrounding branches will be required during and after training - travel reimbursements available.
