About the Opportunity 

The Marketing Manager develops, implements, and executes marketing campaigns and projects from initiation to completion to attract new customers and retain existing customers as well as to support the sales teams. Projects include existing product campaigns, new product launches, and marketing initiatives. In this role you will have project oversight while working with team members and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time, within scope, and on brand. The Marketing Manager also conceptualizes, plans, and implements marketing communications, incorporating value proposition, features, benefits, and calls to action with keen sense of the voice of the customer.

In this role, the successful candidate: 

  • Working with the Director of Marketing, leads the Marketing team in the development and execution of online and offline multi-channel marketing campaigns and projects, including concept development and content creation, new product launches, upsell, cross sell, and sales enablement. 
  • Leads brainstorming sessions, offering analytical and intuitive insights to develop and plan creative marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and competitive advantage. 
  • Proposes and performs primary and/or secondary market research, analysis, and testing using a variety of tools to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, and demographic data to gain insights that shape marketing strategy.
  • Develops and tracks project plans including scope and objectives, and shares with stakeholders. 
  • Drives projects using leadership skills and makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options for moving the project forward while ensuring projects are delivered on time and, within scope, and within budget.
  • Creates, maintains, and distributes monthly marketing reports showing the impact of marketing programs achieving established goals such as awareness, engagement, lead generation, and retention. 
  • Establishes and manages relationships with stakeholders, internal teams, clients, KOLs, and third parties/vendors.
  • As the team grows in number and work, the position has potential to oversee direct reports.
  • Completes other duties as assigned. 

 What does it take to be a qualified candidate? 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience is required. 
  • Minimum five years' experience in the field of marketing preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing fundamentals and targeted marketing concepts with strong project management skills.
  • Experience with B2B new product launches in medical device or technical field preferred. 
  • Highly organized with proven working experience managing marketing projects working with cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and in person communication skills with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience using Smartsheet, Asana, or similar project management software systems. 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Google Analytics.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and products. 
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
