IFM is Hiring an IT Security Analyst Near PA, PA

IFM is seeking IT Security Analysts as part of an international team responsible for incident response related to IT security events. In support of the SOC, the IT Security Analyst assists in the detection, response and remediation of cyber security related incidents for ifm companies worldwide. The IT Security Analyst will work with a team of analysts worldwide providing 24x7 monitoring and response.

Job Responsibilities

  • Processing and tracking of global IT security events and alerts, taking appropriate actions including the detailed investigation to mitigate and address incidents in a timely manner.
  • Analysis of events recorded in central systems and assessment of the risk for the company
  • Communication with colleagues internationally to process and clarify security events
  • Prioritize on privacy breaches and malware threats
  • Provide IT security consultation for new systems evaluation and projects
  • Maintenance and expansion of security tools in the SOC
  • Participate in periodic internal/external testing and documentation
  • Facilitate IT security training program to users

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in 24x7 global IT organization
  • Certification in CISSP, CISA, Microsoft Security or similar is preferred
  • Practical knowledge in Microsoft Security Center including subsystems, SIEM, Active Directory, log servers, vulnerability scanner, endpoint security, server operating systems (Windows and Linux), firewall, mail filter, VPN, encryption, etc.
  • Highly independent, analytical and process orientated
  • Understanding of security-relevant topics and dependencies
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Some occasional travel (international) is required.
