General Job Description

IES Residential, one of the nation’s largest and most reliable electrical contractors, is looking for a strong self-motivated person to assist with the day to day operations of the safety department.

Duties:

• Make training certificates
• Collaborate with all within the safety department and report to Safety Manager on any discrepancies in the stated goals of the department (cultural, process, procedure or policy)
• Promotes a positive safety culture for all team members.
• Order PPE
• Input training classes in database
• Filing emails
• Liaison with divisions about training (Reaching out to them quarterly to see what they need)
• Updating Safety reports including 300 Log

Specific Qualifications

• Previous Safety Knowledge preferred
• Bilingual Preferred
• Familiar with printing and scanning documents
• Must comply with safety training, background check and drug testing
• Team-player
• Works independent
