IES Residential is Hiring a Residential Electrician Near Spring, TX

General Job Description

IES Residential, one of the nations largest electrical subcontractors, is seeking Residential Electricians to join our team in Spring, Tx.

The Residential Electrician plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of the company. A successful candidate will engage in the layout, installation, and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment in new construction homes.

  • Complete house rough in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
  • Install plugs, lights, and other fixtures
  • Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures.
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met
  • Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring consistent with specification and local electrical codes
  • Maintains knowledge of and enforces company safety rules and procedures
  • Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
  • Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
