Responsibilities

The State & Local Center of Excellence (CoE) Business Process Analyst plays a significant role in ensuring program and project management excellence. As a CoE Business Process Analyst, you will be an integral part of a team focused on how quality services, products and solutions are delivered to our customers to meet their desired and expected outcomes. In this role, you will assist the S& L CoE Sr. Manager in achieving this by establishing, enforcing, and continuously improving upon processes and executing program and project management standards and goals. You will be responsible for maintaining, developing, documenting,and implementing standard processes, procedures, best practices, and a common knowledge-sharing repository to serve across two business lines and three distinct business segments.

Success in this role is dependent upon a working knowledge of project management standards and principles, program management, and a keen desire to develop, improve, and support business processes. Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and problem-solving skills are key, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

A creative and collaborative mindset is of the utmost importance.

Job Summary and Essential Functions

  • Assists in the development and design of documentation to maintain and improves processes aligned with program and project excellence
  • Creates, and sets appropriate tools, templates, standards, and parameters applicable to project/program management
  • Communicates established processes, tools and standards and trains appropriate staff accordingly
  • Aids in establishing and maintaining a central, organized repository of tools, templates, and artifacts
  • Constructs and improves process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Establishes reporting standards and cadence
  • Takes ownership of assigned deliverables
  • Monitors and audits program and project teams for compliance to established processes, standards, and enforcement of established gate reviews
  • Collects feedback, input, and review of best practices to facilitate continuous improvement and to align to/with customer contracts and other organizational processes and procedures
  • Execute post-project delivery surveys and measure project success through a scorecard methodology
  • Supports compliance audits as needed
  • Perform and support activities across Business Lines and across Business Units to collaborate on matters related to Program and Project Management CoE
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications, Education, and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (Adult Learning, Data Management, Project Management, etc.) or equivalent experience
    • At least 2 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, Data Analytics, Adult Learning, or Technical Writing
    • Above average skills with Microsoft Office and similar tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams)
    • Relevant experience in a similar technology industry preferred
    • Understanding of Program and Project Management principles
