Summary

IDEMIA NSS has an opening for a Test Engineer. This role will collaborate with multiple cross-functional development teams and support external customer testing teams.

Job Description

  • Work with the Project Leads, agile team and collaborate within a cross-functional development team
  • Document defects and functionality in User Stories using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) syntax
  • Attend meetings to clarify user stories and changes
  • Identify risks, raise to Project Leads and suggest mitigation wherever possible
  • Support Customer Acceptance Testing
  • Design, Execute, and Record Test Plans and Test Cases
  • Work as part of an Agile Team to triage, prioritize, and resolve issues
  • Grow the skills of a cross functional team by working with other team members to build their testing knowledge and skills
  • As a member of a cross functional team, work with other team members to build your development knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields
  • 3 years of experience in software testing
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in doing Agile Testing
  • US Citizen
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply Agile principles and values
  • Good verbal and written communication skills across development and business domains
  • Highly interactive and good analytical capabilities to evaluate results

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with Agile Software Development, especially Scaled Agile Framework and Agile SCRUM
  • Experience in using Agile tools (ex: Jira, Jira Align)
  • ISTQB Agile Tester or similar certification
  • Scaled Agile Practitioner or similar certification
