ICP Group is Hiring a Remote National Sales Manager

ICP Group is looking to hire a National Sales Manager, who can work remotely. The National Sales Manager is responsible for Identifying and developing new strategies to target, grow and maintain national accounts and providing post sales support.  You will be providing revolutionary products and solutions for fire, heat, thermal, and safety issues that a multiple of industries face today. ICP Building Solutions Group proprietary formulations, unique product compositions, and rapid, custom solutions build a strong foundation for cost-effective, creative, quick-response solutions to suit our customers’ thermal fire protection needs. This position is for individuals experienced in the Intumescent coatings space, who has demonstrated sales success and has consistently achieved or exceeded forecasts over a sustained period of time. This role is very independent and we need an individual who can easily work with minimal supervision.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop sales objectives for national accounts;
  • Identify needs and develop and alter strategies to maximize market and account potential;
  • Represent themselves and the company with the highest of ethics, maintain a positive attitude, and operate with principled business practices;
  • Represents and manages an assigned group of key account customers within the country;
  • Provides timely and accurate feedback of field and competitive activities to the senior management group;
  • Establishes strong relationships and communications with new, potential and existing customers;
  • Assists, as required, in the development and implementation of marketing plans, meetings, shows, conferences, training, and workshops;
  • Develops a thorough knowledge of product offering and can provide the technical support to others within the organization as well as to customers;
  • Overnight travel up to 30%;
  • Answer product application questions on a daily basis;
  • Address technical complaints referred by marketing, sales or customer service;
  • Investigate complaints to determine root cause;
  • Communicate root cause results verbally and in a formal reports to appropriate internal personnel;
  • Interact with customers to satisfy their issues while protecting ICP’s interests;
  • Visit customer sites as required to troubleshoot issues;
  • Prioritize and drive actions necessary to drive root cause determination and to address issues identified in root cause analyses;
  • Interact with suppliers, customers, customer service, sales and production staff to assure customer satisfaction and complaint resolution;
  • Serve as a primary stakeholder in the establishment of new product performance requirements;
  • Serve as a primary stakeholder in establishing new product development priorities;
  • Coordinate training for both new and existing products;
  • Lead the market introduction activities for new products;
  • Actively contribute to the development of the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5 years of successful Sales experience within the Intumescent industry; with an emphasis on National accounts;
  • Bachelor's degree level of education or training is preferred;
  • Complete understanding of the sales cycle with ability to influence, communicate, and coordinate;
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize opportunities;
  • Experienced in business negotiations, making presentations, strategic account planning, and in the application of administrative and analytical skills in order achieve objectives;
  • Requires use and knowledge of computers, specialized sales software, and on-line sales support systems with daily data input and tracking of progress;
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of product lines, customer segments and their needs, internal functional needs, and competitive products, prices and policies;
  • Candidate must have excellent problem solving, communicative, and persuasion skills. Sound planning and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Must possess a competitive drive, focus and the determination to achieve results;
  • Leverages working relationships with key people in accounts and/or distributors at all levels. Must influence those contacts to exceed sales objectives.
