The Human Resources Coordinator works closely together with the HR Team and specifically the Head of Talent Acquisition to ensure that the organization’s Talent Acquisition policies, processes, and practices are as efficient and high-performing as possible.
Essential Functions for this role include:
Perform and coordinate a variety of Talent Acquisition activity including:
- Maintain applicant tracking system (UKG)
- Maintain and update information on Talent Acquisition Teams Site
- Create, post and close requisitions in applicant tracking system (UKG)
- Schedule interviews as requested
- Coordinate pre-employment tests as requested
- Source candidates as requested
- Create and maintain recruiting/personnel files
- Create and send offer letters
- Process background checks and manage eVerify for new hires
- Perform periodic audits of people data
- Process invoices and resolve audit/billing matters
- Assist with the documentation and updating of processes and policies
- Monitor Talent Acquisition email inbox
Assist with temporary staffing:
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Staff to manage temporary agencies, establish service agreement/terms, negotiate rates and conversion fees, etc.
- Manage administrative function with tracking temporary openings
- Coordinate reference and background check completion with staffing agencies
- Process invoices and resolve audit/billing matters
- Regularly provide updates to HR management regarding temporary staffing volume/activity
- Maintain data entry for temporary staff
Assist HR staff with support in the following areas:
- Oversee onboarding functions including but not limited to maintaining accuracy of offer letters, new hire forms and policies in applicant tracking system
- Assist with revising and reformatting job descriptions
- Assist with special projects as appropriate
- Other duties assigned
If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:
- 3 to 5 years' experience
- Effective verbal/written communication skills
- Clear customer service and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in a high-volume environment
- Computer literacy, word processing, Internet and spreadsheet experience
- Positive, customer-focused, and results-driven attitude
- Ability to create/revise and implement procedures
- Ability to represent Human Resources and the Corporation
- Math aptitude, statistical analysis experience
- Experience in other areas of human resources
- Working knowledge of federal, state, local government employment laws
- Experience with Workday, UKG
- HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) a plus
