Description
The primary role of the Structural Engineer is to review, evaluate and design upgrades to existing structures, design new structures and foundations and work with other members of the ICC project team preparing/upgrading industrial facilities to meet client requirements. This role includes the use of specific Building Codes (including IBC, ASCE-7 and others as applicable) to design structures capable of supporting these industrial facilities. This position will receive general project guidance from the Structural Engineering Department Head and Senior Structural Engineer but will perform specific analyses and designs. This position will assess project feasibility, cost and timelines. This role requires a high level of communication and coordination with individuals, engineering teams as well as clients.
