iCare Consulting Services is Hiring a Project Manager Near Skokie, IL

Project Manager Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of projects at multiple long term care facilities through budgeting, coordinating team members, sourcing suppliers and planning the project release. Local travel is required.

Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Supervises and implements the design, planning, and management of complex engineering, construction, and facilities engineering projects or programs.
  • Manages the implementation and development phases necessary to complete facilities’ construction, renovation, and major maintenance projects.
  • Works with external contractors, architects, and engineers during design and project administration.
  • Monitors process to ensure project timelines are on schedule.
  • Provides leadership and communications for ensuring the efficient operation of maintenance groups.
  • Performs tracking functions to account for permitting status at the city/municipality, or state level.

Project Manager Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance, construction, and/or engineering.
  • Experience working in long term care facilities.
  • Familiarity with standards of the Illinois Department of Public Health, Life Safety Code, and JCAHO.
