ibt is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter Near Merriam, KS

This is a partially remote position. Candidates located in the Kansas City metro area will be preferred. Purpose:The Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter will assist with the daily support functions of the Human Resources department with a strong focus on hiring and interviewing staff and enforcing company policies and practices. This position will also research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.Major Responsibilities:Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process including: Collaborating with department managers to develop detailed and accurate job descriptions, interview guides, job postings and advertisementsScreening applicants and coordinating interviews with hiring managersCollaborating with hiring managers to develop and negotiate job offersConducting background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Conducting new hire orientation and assisting with employee recognition programsHandles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Produces and distributes standard reports on a monthly and ad hoc basis.Develops and maintains technical understanding of all HR systems including Ceridian Dayforce, Competency Core, and Awardco. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.Experience using Ceridian Dayforce highly preferred.At least one year of general human resources experience preferred.At least one year of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process preferred.SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.Skills/Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. #LP
