Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

IBSS Corporation is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer to support a Federal enterprise Security Operations Center. The engineer will be responsible for technical planning, system design reviews, development and integration oversight, verification and validation assistance. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining a number of enterprise security solutions, including Tenable.sc, SkyHigh (McAfee) Web Gateway, FireEye Core (AX, NX, CMS), FireEye Hx (EDR), FireEye Email Threat Protection Cloud (ETP), SkyHigh (McAfee MVISION) UCE and CASB, and Netbox. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Tenable.sc, including responding to user requests, updating software, and performing root cause analysis for Tier 2 and 3 escalation
• Maintain Tenable API tools using pyTenable including but not limited to SSL Certificate Expiry Monitoring, SIEM integration, Cyberscope metrics
• Manage SkyHigh Web Gateway,ensuring website accessibility/blocks, updating software, and performing root cause analysis for Tier 2 and 3 escalation
• Manage FireEye Core (AX, NX, CMS) products, including updating software, performing hardware monitoring, and troubleshooting issues
• Maintain FireEye HX (EDR), including updating software, ensuring availability of software to end users, performing hardware monitoring, maintaining integrations, and troubleshooting issues
• Manage FireEye ETP, including supporting phishing test campaigns, and troubleshooting issues
• Support development and deployment of SkyHigh UCE and SkyHigh CASB, deploying and installing software, responding to user requests, and troubleshooting cloud connector, bypass, and site access issues
• Maintain Netbox-based IP attribution solution, including assisting with API integrations, responding to user requests, and configuring the schema
• Develop and maintain documentation architecture for enterprise operations and engineering teams
• Test and evaluate new security solutions for enterprise adoption, including performing analysis of alternatives and market comparisons
• Help to build team cohesiveness and an environment where engineers wish to succeed
• Train and mentor new engineers

Required Skills /Education/ Certifications & Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Possess and maintain Secret clearance 
• Possess and maintain one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security , CISSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA , GICSP, CND
• Experience or exposure to a combination of the solutions listed above
• Comprehensive knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Scripting knowledge, including Python, Perl, bash

Desired Skills:

• Strong institutional knowledge of NOAA programs and NOAA IT infrastructure
• Experience with migrating and maintaining applications and systems in the cloud (AWS, Azure, and SaaS)
• Understanding of TIC 3.0 architecture in designing and developing cybersecurity technologies
• Experience providing recommendations to senior management for IT strategies
