Data Scientist

Introduction
As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Work with Best in Class open source and visual tools, along with the most flexible and scalable deployment options. Whether it’s investigating patient trends or weather patterns, you will work to solve real world problems for the industries transforming how we live.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Understand our portfolio and help to improve and fill in the gaps
• Validating AI models for synthetic data generation
• Developing analytics and machine learning models for code generation and
• Write code in Python to build, develop and deploy machine learning models, perform data exploration, analysis, what-if analysis, model comparison, defect resolutions
• Demos and presentations to external and internal customers
• Understand our portfolio and help to improve and fill in the gaps
• Validating AI models for synthetic data generation
• Developing analytics and machine learning models for code generation and
• Write code in Python to build, develop and deploy machine learning models, perform data exploration, analysis, what-if analysis, model comparison, defect resolutions
• Make presentations to external and internal customers

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• M.S/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree/experience.
• 3 years experience with data science, mathematics, machine learning
• Experience with Python programming

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with Watson Studio, Watson Machine Learning, Watson Pipelines
• Experience with any Chatbot, STT (Speech to Text) technologies is a plus

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
