IAPP is Hiring a Business Process Analyst Near Portsmouth, NH

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join its team.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Continuous Improvement, the Business Process Analyst encourages, identifies, and supports business process improvement opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Understand IAPP systems, integrations, and workflow, with an emphasis on inter-departmental and inter-site workflow and communication
  • Identify opportunities and gaps in IAPP business operations utilizing lean methods for improving member/customer experience, staff satisfaction, profitability, and future growth
  • Assist product/service owners with strategic analysis of operational opportunities, and best practice research
  • Assist sponsors with ROI analysis of notional projects
  • Work with SMEs to architect and build practical solutions to operational challenges by utilizing BPA tools
  • Assist in the adoption of a Change Management framework for the organization, partnering with key internal stakeholders, such as Internal Communications and Learning and Development.
  • Support new process, product, and service launches with operational planning, e.g. documentation, training, KPI development, quality planning, and staffing requirements
  • Assist managers with quality management
  • Manage organizational projects with a large process component (or focused on operational improvement) utilizing project management best practices
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and up to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience with Business Process Analysis or familiarity with Lean practices, including Agile, preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with process mapping software (such as Visio)
  • Experience managing process improvement initiatives and/or leading process improvement workshops preferred
  • Knowledge of technical writing best practices preferred

Work Environment

We have a hybrid work environment and are asking applicants to be within a commutable distance to our Portsmouth, NH office.
