Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a relatable people person with experience planning, implementing, and managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You are energized by opportunities to solve unique and complex problems as part of a diverse team. You are market-savvy, value deep collaboration, and can effectively frame your point of view to technical and non-technical audiences. You are highly organized and not intimidated by tight timelines or simultaneous projects. You demonstrate humble leadership, have meticulous attention to detail, and the technical chops to push the caliber and range of concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of common electrical engineering tasks and the ability to gauge the effort and duration appropriate to complete
  • Alone or in conjunction with Engineering and Design Groups, will be responsible for all the functions necessary to deliver a complete and successful project to the client
  • Act on behalf of the client to drive project progress in a timely and cost responsible manner
  • Work with i3PD department managers to identify key resources for project success and coordinate their involvement, roles and expectations on the project 
  • Hold the responsibility of monitoring, controlling and maintaining project scope, timeline and budget
  • By means of appropriate delegation, work with varying technical leads to maintain organization throughout the project and ensure the completion of deliverables in accordance with the clients timeline needs.
  • Plan and estimate work, identify risks and project execution challenges
  • Maintain a working knowledge and background in diverse fields of product application and manufacturing techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent training/certification in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (3 years of industry experience preferred)
  • Project management experience is preferred and PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering projects 
  • Experience coaching and mentoring team members
  • Confident public speaker with dynamic presentation skills and the ability to connect with people during sales and internal meetings
  • Past experience in Circuit Board design 
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics.
