Who you are: A highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to establish best-in-class sourcing strategy for the components and technologies across the organization’s roadmap Someone detail-oriented, able to monitor market conditions, commodity and technology trends and economics that affect supply market An effective communicator, who can lead cross-functional teams to develop mutually acceptable component strategies What you will do: Provide development center oversight, and participate in, or lead, major projects involving strategic components to assure strategy execution consistency between development centers Generate annual continuous improvement in features, quality, reliability, and cost Coordinate Strategy and development activities with other component Product Managers and Platform Leaders Ensure consistent product development design, function, and execution objectives are being met with components and systems that have a high degree of overlap between system functions Manage Key Supplier Relationships Total Cost Management Achieve best-in-class pricing, terms, productivity improvements and service What you will need: BA/BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Finance Masters’ preferred Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in an OEM environment, with 3 years of direct experience as a Theatre Commodity Manager or NPD Procurement Manager Experience leading a minimum of 2 direct reports Skills, Experience & Abilities Broad technical understanding of major lift truck systems and components Able to work cross-culturally in an international business environment Communication and interpersonal skills Who we are: HYG designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names.
