Job Title: Staff Product Manager (Software)
Location: Remote
Summary:
The Software Product Manager will be responsible for driving execution for Hyperfine’s on-device and cloud software strategy. You will work cross-functionally to define product requirements and deliver production ready systems. You will focus on anticipating customer needs, designing simple, yet functional solutions and assessing tradeoffs for implementation and engineering priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Own and define detailed roadmaps for software and AI applications within the context of the Hyperfine ecosystem and own the end-to-end life cycle of conception through customer implementation.
- Conduct user interviews, perform market research, and evaluate the competitive landscape and translate those findings into well-defined requirements for the engineering team.
- Draft detailed user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each feature.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs and ensure features work according to product specifications to meet customer needs.
- Engage a core group of stakeholders, both internal and external, to inform, validate and shape the software roadmap.
- Partner with engineering to work through implementation details, spec reviews, design reviews and ensure the on-time delivery of features.
- Partner with product management counterparts on delivering the whole solution.
- Work closely with product management and leadership teams to develop and support the go-to-market strategy.
Knowledge & Skill:
- Experience with agile development.
- Ability to translate and articulate complicated business problems into easily understood solutions and functional requirements.
- Ability to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
- Experience working on products across the full product lifecycle (conception, development, go-to-market, and post launch support).
- Proven written and oral communication skills and ability to influence colleagues.
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field and 12 years' experience (or equivalent)
- 5 years Software Product Management experience with a history of defining and launching successful products in a medical imaging company
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work long hours and execute under pressure with short turnaround times
- Ability to speak, write, and use all office equipment including scanner and printer, phone, computer, etc.
- Ability to drive and operate the Hyperfine scanner.
- Ability to travel to the Hyperfine office locations and customer sites up to 25% of the time.

Deletion
